The service
What you're actually getting, and why it works.
We do one thing: spraying. No general building, no chasing trades, just an obsessive standard of preparation and a finish that holds up in everyday use.
About Elite RefinishingWhat it is
UPVC spraying is the on-site application of a purpose-formulated UPVC coating system to existing window frames, doors, conservatories, soffits, fascias and garage doors, converting tired, yellowed or dated UPVC into a fresh, modern finish without replacement.
Who it's for
Homeowners with sound but ageing UPVC, landlords wanting to lift kerb appeal between tenancies, commercial property owners updating shopfronts and offices, and anyone quoted £8k-£20k+ for replacement windows.
When you need it
When the white has yellowed, the brown looks dated, the colour doesn't suit your renovation, or the frames are otherwise sound but visually tired. Also ideal pre-sale: a sprayed UPVC house photographs as a refurbished property.
Why it matters
Because retail brush-on UPVC paints fail. A proper UPVC respray uses an industrial two-pack adhesion primer plus a UV-stable topcoat, sprayed under controlled conditions, the only finish chemistry that survives 365-day UK weather on a non-porous plastic substrate.
The cost of getting it wrong
Why replacing, or DIY-ing, is the expensive option.
Replacement is the £8k-£20k mistake
A full house of replacement windows is one of the biggest single expenses in home ownership. If your frames are sound and only the colour is the problem, you are paying tens of thousands to solve a five-figure-cheaper problem.
Retail UPVC paint peels
Brush-on tins from a DIY shed are not chemically engineered to bond to virgin UPVC. They look fine for a winter, then fail at the corners where water collects. We re-spray failed DIY jobs every month.
Faded UPVC drags your kerb appeal, and your valuation
Yellowed white frames make a whole street look tired. On a sale, this directly affects the first photo on the listing, and the first photo is what gets clicks.
Bad colour matching gives the game away
Cheap sprayers eyeball the colour. We work from RAL references, do test panels, and check in daylight before we commit.
The process
Five steps. Zero guesswork.
Inspection
Site visit or photo survey. We assess the substrate, scope and ideal coating system.
Fixed-Price Quote
A clear written quote, no day rates, no surprises. You know exactly what you're paying.

Inspection in working light, touch-in where needed, refit, walk-through and guarantee certificate.
The benefits
What you actually get for the money.
Like-new appearance
Even, modern colour finish across every frame, sill and bead, no brush marks, no patchy fade.
A fraction of replacement
Typically a small percentage of the cost of new windows for the same visual outcome.
10-year coating performance
Specialist UPVC coating system designed and warranted for long-term outdoor exposure.
1-2 days on-site
Most houses sprayed in a single working day, no scaffolding, no broken glass, no skip.
Anthracite, black, sage, bespoke
All RAL colours available. Anthracite grey, jet black and heritage sage are our most-requested.
No disruption inside
All work is external. Curtains, blinds and furniture stay exactly where they are.
How it's done
How UPVC is properly sprayed.
UPVC is one of the hardest substrates in the entire painting world. It is non-porous, expands with temperature, and is constantly hit by sun, rain and salt. Cutting corners here is why so many sprayed houses look terrible after one winter. This is the system we use across South Wales.
Variations we cover
- UPVC windows (all profiles)
- Front doors and composite doors
- Patio and French doors
- Conservatory frames and roof bars
- Soffits, fascias and bargeboards
- Garage doors (UPVC, steel and aluminium)
- Cladding and architectural UPVC
- Commercial shopfront frames
- Bespoke colour matching to existing windows
Specialist coating system
Industrial two-pack adhesion primer plus a flexible, UV-stable topcoat, engineered specifically for UPVC and warranted for long-term external use. Not a re-labelled exterior masonry paint.
Surface decontamination, then mechanical key
Frames are first degreased with a panel wipe to remove silicones, mould-spore residue and atmospheric contamination, then mechanically keyed where required to give the primer a mechanical bond on top of the chemical one.
Full architectural masking
Glass, render, brickwork, sills, gutters, neighbouring property and ground are masked with professional film, tape and drop sheets. We don't get spray drift on your car.
Multiple thin coats, not one heavy coat
Heavy coats run, sag and fail. Thin, even coats, allowed to flash off between passes, are how factory-spec finishes are achieved.
Inspection and certificate
Every frame is inspected after demask, touched in if needed, and you receive a written guarantee certificate naming the property and the coating system used.
